For sexual assault and domestic violence
victims and their children.

Are you in an abusive relationship?

You don’t need scars or bruises to be a victim of abuse! Abuse occurs when behaviors are used to establish and maintain power and control over another person!

The victim can be any person - man, woman or child. Everyone in the household is affected by family violence.

Abusers are all ages and are found in all races, religions and socio-economic levels. Battering is a socially learned behavior.

Research and experience tell us that children learn how to interact with others from watching their parents and caregivers. Children who live in violent situations often grow up believing this is the correct way to solve problems. They are physically abused or seriously neglected at the rate of 1500% higher than the national average in the general population.
